Post graduation, he returned to Texas, where he attended the University of Texas Southwestern (UT Southwestern Medical School). He then completed an Internship and Urology Residency at the University of Oklahoma (OU) in Norman.
Dr. Lowrey was elected by faculty members into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (AΩA) during his residency. He was also elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society (PBK).

In his free time, Dr. Lowrey enjoys hiking, backpacking, running, camping, skiing, SUP boarding, Tar Heel sports, and spending time with his wife and golden retriever.

I had a good experience at my appointment.
Dr. Lowrey addressed all my concerns during the review of my blood work. He suggested areas that I needed to work on. He was very compassionate when he learned of my wife's passing. I find no problems with working with Dr. Lowrey.
Your PA discovered a UTI prior to the procedure that was scheduled for Friday, and said he'd send a prescription to my pharmacy, but as us this morning (Monday) they have received nothing. I was also told that my appointment for the procedure which was postponed would be rescheduled. Again, I've heard nothing from your office.
The procedure was fairly quick for my wife . She had some issues with a UTI appeared after the procedure ? but not related to it Medications were prescribed after the Dr was contacted.
Dr. Tom Lowrey diagnosed my need for a prostate biopsy after blood tests and an MRI exam. No malignancy was found. I appreciate his expertise and consultation during this whole procedure.

It was good. Not much was done, it's was just meeting each other.

Prostate biopsy, told by friends it was painful and very uncomfortable. After the first numbing shots, there was no pain at all. Dr. Lowry and his medical sonographer were great, they thoroughly explained everything they were doing.
