About Dr. Thomas "Kevin" Robinson, MPT, OCS, DSc

Dr. Robinson graduated from the East Carolina University physical therapy program in 1986. His clinical experience is in orthopedics and sports medicine, and he has worked in outpatient clinics serving both high school and college athletes. Kevin was the first certified orthopedic physical therapy specialist in middle Tennessee. He currently teaches courses in orthopedics and kinesiology at Belmont University and is the director of the physical therapy school’s motion analysis lab. In addition to his responsibilities at Belmont, Dr. Robinson continues to maintain an active clinic schedule. Prior to joining Belmont, Kevin was a faculty member at Tennessee State University and at East Carolina University and was an adjunct faculty with the University of Kentucky. His research interests include motion analysis, orthopedic assessment, and orthopedic intervention.
