Dr Jones is a stellar spine specialist. He’s not your typical surgeon that’s going to operate just because he can. He’s thoughtful and patient in explaining things and it was hugely helpful when he pulled the MRI images up on his Show morelaptop where it was suddenly obvious to see the areas of concern. His staff was pleasant as well as the premises. The wait was a little longer than expected but he’s a very in demand doctor. Even so, he didn’t pressure or take short cuts so I was very happy. Ps. No - he didn’t suggest surgery of any type but rather a physical rehabilitation of issues related to my spine. This is absolutely a Five Star practice.
This place is very very very clean and well decorated. Makes you know that they pay attention to detail. With that being said Dr. Jones had great bedside manners and makes you feel very comfortable. He explained his recommendationShow mores and helped me choose what route would be best for me. It is very scary trusting anyone to mess with your back. After speaking with him I felt very confident he was perfect for the job. Can't wait to get this surgery over with and move on to a better quality of life. Thank you?

In 2009, he finished his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, which is the primary teaching hospital for the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. In 2010, Dr. Jones went on to complete his fellowship training in spinal surgery at the Texas Back Institute in Dallas.

I am a ware of a wait time at a Doctors office, I did not mind that. I just felt rushed and unheard, I waited almost 2 hours in the waiting area, once I was put in the room, I though finally I'll be next. The wait for that was not long, The Doc walked in was polite introduced himself, said I'm Doc Jones, I said nice to meet you. He asked me why I was there. I said I'm having pain at my lower back for the past 4 months, he said okay well we will be needing an MRI, I said well I brought my plain xrays and rhe report, as I said that the medical assistant knocks on the door and hands it him, just as I had handed to her when I was put in the exam.room and she took my note, The Doctor did not even look at the cd, I noticed he glanced at the report and said, well everyone has that lower back pain, so we need an Mri and see you in 2 weeks. All that took less than 5 minutes, he seemed rushed, I wanted an explanation on why I have this pain, and were is located, yiu know normally i thought l, they will ask you to stand up chexk you out, were it hurts, hen you bend down or when you walk, nothing, he didn't even go over the questionnaire about me they make you fill put. He lucky I don't take any at all medications. I am aware I'm 50ish and things happen, but first impression was not worth my 45 minute drive. I took it because that was the soonest appt for a New Patient and I did not have to wait weeks on out and I've been hurting. I realize is all about making money, but we put our trust in Doctors, we are there to be heard and guided to the next step. The whole experience was a fail for me and I will not be back to see him, I was fuming when I left and had to sit in my car before I drove back to keep from crying out of madness. Oh well I'll research better, i know a great adoctor is out there for me. The only nice thing was the young black receptionist, she was very nice and said sorry about it. When she called me to ask why I did not stop at the counter to schedule my 2 week follow up after my Mri. I did not, i walked out past the door, pass the waiting area, out to my car I went. He might be an Awesome Doctor to some, but me It just did not happen. I work in Healthcare and I refer patients there smh. Well best of luck to everyone. :)

Where do I start…hands down the best most genuine doctor I’ve ever met. It was a long road to get to where I am today but, one appointment with Dr. jones and he immediately diagnosed my problem. Two weeks later I had an injection to see if I would be a good candidate for a joint fusion and within 2 days I knew I was going to be fine. I called Dr. Jones’s office up and asked to book the fusion. Best decision I have ever made. I have my life back in pain free for the first time in almost 17 years. I highly recommend seeking treatment with him.
Dr. Jones and his staff go above and beyond for his patients. He spends time explaining everything and always ask if I have any more questions. He is a great spinal surgeon because I know, he performed surgery on me and his staff always takes care of questions and help with forms required by my employer. Dr Thomas could not get my disc of the ct to load and did not review the results for my second appointment. Nor did he have the proper notes recorded from my first appointment blaming me for not telling him all my symptoms. When he didn’t record him.
