Born and raised in St. Louis as the daughter of a gastroenterologist, Dr. Geisman completed her medical training at Washington University in St. Louis. She served as their Chief Resident before moving on to her specialty training in clinical Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She has prior research experience in Inflammatory Bowel Disease but her practice will include general Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Sarah was thorough and knowledgeable although at the end, I felt rushed when I had questions. I realize it is a busy office and I get it however it would be nice to not be cut off when talking. Tamera, who scheduled my appointment for testing at St. Luke’s Hospital was amazing. Very kind and had a lot of information to my questions. Also, the phlebotomist whose name I did not get was fantastic and was able to get my blood drawn on the first try without pain!

The F.N.P. I met with was very attentive and easy to talk too. A negative of the practice is the doctor I was going to left the practice and his customers were not informed. When I tried to see another doctor I was told it would be a three month wait. I guess there is always the emergency room if needed. I was happy that I was able to talk to Mrs.Aubuchon that only took a month to see her. I have now reestablished myself with another doctor in the group.
