Syed M. Nasir, MD, is an interventional pain management doctor at Skilled Pain Care Clinic in Houston and Katy, Texas. With more than 19 years of experience in academic institutions and private practice, Dr. Nasir offers a variety of pain treatments for his patients.
Dr. Nasir completed his internship in internal medicine at Brooklyn Center and at New York University, as well as his residency in anesthesiology at NYU Medical Center in New York City. He then completed his fellowship in pain management at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Nasir is also a former director of the Chronic Pain Clinic at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas. His academic experience includes serving as an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
With a focus on different treatment options for chronic pain conditions, Dr. Nasir offers personalized, expert care. Dr. Nasir will work directly with patients to review medical history, complete physical exams, and review radiology and diagnostic data. He also has a special interest in treating geriatric patients suffering from pain.

Great listener about your pain
Dr Nasir is an excellent doctor. He listens intently with concern for each patient’s pain issues. He utilizes every treatment available to him including steroid injections that give me great relief to my chronic pain issues. His assistant, Miguel Garza, is a great asset to the dr; and I can depend on his professionalism just as much as Dr Nasir. Their team effort is greatly appreciated.

Was very impressed with Dr. M. Wilson and interest in my medical past. She was well aware of the consequences of Hemochromatosis and the many side syndromes spawned by its evolving interplay with general physiology. I appreciated here online site refferals. Dr. Nasir was quick to review my existing MRI's and advocated continued spinal injections before the pain set back in. Look forward to followup and maintaining my current med regime to keep at an active level.

Dr. Syed Nasir has been of the finest and best quality physician I have known for many years. He has helped me regain my ability to walk and never allowed me to suffer in the chronic pain condition that I have friends a car accident that occurred in Australia in 2093. I have known Dr. Syed Nasir since 2010 and he us the best and most knowledgeable physician I have ever known in his field of Expertise in Amanesthesiology for is geology/pain management. The staff in his office is always willing to listen to my progress of my physical condition and they have always been helpful and caring to me. Of all of the physicians I've known throughout my life in the four countries I've lived in, Dr. Syed Nasir has been the most experienced and knowledgeable of all of the physicians I've known in my entire life. My pain levels increase in my years and Dr. Syed Nasir is always willing to study my bone density scans and other tests while other physicians ignore me. I wish there was a one star to ten zillion star scale to rate Dr. Syed Nasir on becoming I rate his expertise at ten zillion!
