Fast, Professional & Clean! Abby, P.A was fantastic. I had originally went to the HF Urgent Care on Mack about 1 mile down the road. I got there, checked in. No one really acknowledged me, there was only one girl, I sat & waitinShow moreg for 20 minutes. The building & inside was pretty dirty, the room walls were paper thin, I could hear all of the patient information before me so I decided to leave & go to Emcura. I spoke to Abby on the phone before I got there , she said come on over. Got there, signed a few quick papers & I was back in a room. Medical Assistant took my vitals and went over symptoms, not even 3 minutes later Abby walked in and went over everything with me. I was there a total of 30 minutes, if that. She was so friendly & professional, I won’t go anywhere else or take my kids anywhere else now!
Very informative, patient, knowledgeable, did not feel rushed, and all my questions were answered in depth and in totally comprehensive detail. Dr. Sookkasikon is going to be my Primary Care Physician. Two plus hour wait times aShow moret my previous PCP, and a Staff that was unfriendly and not overly communicative, caused me to consider this change, and I am happy that I've made the switch. I have all very good experiences with Emcura in Northville and the staff. No wait times, thorough, they seem to understand that when I am ill, it is important I get better in an expeditious manner. Highly recommend.

Supak Sookkasikon, MD, is an experienced physician and medical director of Emcura Medical in West Bloomfield, Bloomfield Hills, Bloomfield Township, Northville and Grosse Pointe Woods, MI and has been prcticing for over 20 years.
Born in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dr. Sookkasikon earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of California, Davis, before attending medical school in Cambridge, England at the Kigezi School of Medicine. She then returned to the United States to complete her family medicine residency at the University of Michigan. Dr. Sookkasikon is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and the American Board of Holistic and Integrative Medicine. She’s also certified as a medical review officer and is fluent in Thai.
Dr. Sookkasikon’s commitment to her patients and family throughout her medical training led her to pursue a fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine that was created by Dr. Andrew Weil.
At Emcura Immediate Care, Dr. Sookkasikon brings a wide range of experience to her medical practice, from integrative and mindful medicine, to preventive health, urgent care, primary care, and occupational medicine. She also specializes in women’s health, homronal health, stress management, as well as exercise and nutrition to help support healthy lifestyles.
In addition to being an experienced physician, Dr. Sookkasikon is a foodie and a yogi who enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors. When she’s not treating patients, Dr. Sookkasikon loves spending time exploring with her family. She has three sons.
