About Steven P. Lisser, MD

Dr. Steven Lisser is a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon at Orthocenter who specializes in Hand, Shoulder, and Elbow Surgery, as well as Sports Medicine. Dr. Lisser is passionate about his field, with special interests that include rotator cuff disease, ligament reconstruction, reconstructive microsurgery, arthroscopy, endoscopic carpal tunnel release, and shoulder cuff disease.

Dr. Lisser earned his Medical Degree and completed his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. He then completed a Hand, Elbow and Microsurgery Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. After that, Dr. Lisser completed a Shoulder Surgery Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Lisser is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He holds additional certifications in Hand Surgery and Sports Medicine. Dr. Lisser is a Member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and American Society for Surgery of the Hand.

Dr. Lisser serves as the Chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Hackensack Meridian Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, NJ and is a past President of the Medical Staff and past member of the Riverview Medical Center Foundation Board.

Dr. Lisser serves on the Board of the Hackensack Meridian Health Hospital Corporation and Chairs the Board’s Medical Council. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Shrewsbury Surgical Center and is a consultant for medical device companies.

Love Dr Mulholland & the xray tech was very nice. Ladies up front dealing with billing were nice enough but they messed up my receipt & have to wait a day or two to get a detailed summary of visit to submit for insurance.

I was extremely happy with my visit. There was no waiting. X-rays were quick. Didn’t wait long for the Dr. to come talk to me and explain to me about the pain I was having. He also explained the options I have to be pain free. I would highly recommend this office to anyone.
