Steven S. Harvey, MD, is an accomplished gastroenterologist with more than 25 years of experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of G.I. issues. Dr. Harvey has been a board-certified gastroenterologist since 1997. After graduating from Penn State University with a B.S. in Natural Science, Dr. Harvey continued his education in Philadelphia at Thomas Jefferson Medical College, where he achieved his medical degree. He remained in Philadelphia for his Internal Medicine residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center. Subsequently, Dr. Harvey accepted a gastrointestinal fellowship at the University of Illinois in Chicago. During his fellowship in Chicago, he received training in gastroenterology, advanced endoscopic techniques, hepatology, and liver transplantation. Dr. Harvey joined Gastroenterology and Nutrition of Central Florida with the goal of providing courteous, efficient, and high-quality care.
