After growing up in central North Carolina, Dr. Reichard completed his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He moved to the Tetons after graduation and worked as a mountain guide and ski patroller. While working as a ski patroller, he found a love for helping people when they need it most. After five years in the Tetons, Dr. Reichard moved back to North Carolina to attend medical school at Wake Forest University.
He completed his orthopedic residency at Case Western/University Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio, and followed that with his fellowship in orthopedic foot and ankle surgery at Stanford University, where he acquired in-depth knowledge and skills in foot and ankle reconstruction, total ankle arthroplasty, sports medicine, and arthroscopy, as well as lower extremity fracture care.
Dr. Reichard is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Reichard and his family moved to Southwest Montana from Northern Michigan, where he has been providing lower extremity orthopedic care for several years. Dr. Reichard, his wife, Hannah, and their three children: Jack, Kate, and Noah, love all things that Southwest Montana has to offer. Outside of work, Dr. Reichard spends his time skiing, fishing, mountain biking, trail running, and spending time with his family.

Dr Reichard and his nurse were very competent, professional, and answered all questions my wife & I had regarding my tendon surgery. I am well pleased with the outcome of the entire process, from the initial consultation to the procedure and subsequent follow-up appointments.
Dr was kind, informative and quick. Just what we needed. Office and Dr were able to squeeze us in a day after accident.
My visit with Dr. Reichard was great. I did however have to wait for almost an hour. It would have been great to receive a call from the office beforehand notifying me that he was running behind.

The clinic receptionist was friendly even though we were slightly late to prepare our paperwork. Dr Reichard’s nurse was very informative and understanding. Kudos to her. The X-ray tech had the xrays done in no time and Dr. Reichard came into the exam room shortly after. His explanation of the condition along with the choices for correcting it was easy to understand. Glad I went to Alpine.

Big disconnect from front desk. I called for a spinal injection. I got the MRI, I checked with insurance for referral and prior auth but it was just a consultation, which made sense but not what I was told. I was deeply disappointed. They will call if there is a cancellation but time is running out since I leave for Italy Wednesday.
