About Stephanie Sarmiento, LMFT

Stephanie is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher who has been in the behavioral and mental health field since 2013. She proudly serves her alma mater as an Adjunct Psychology Professor and is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She specialized in behavior analysis before pursuing her life’s work in complex trauma, with a vision to serve and be a guiding light for her clients. Stephanie embodies an integrative approach to therapy, and understands her client’s unique set of skills and gifts through a trauma-informed and inclusive lens. She embraces the importance of cultural sensitivity and humility within the therapeutic relationship, and incorporates experiential and somatic practices throughout her work with clients to promote mind-body healing and connection.
