About Stephanie Henriet, MA

My name is Stephanie, I am a graduate student at St. Martin’s University in the counseling program. I am passionate about working with parents and their families. I believe that the therapeutic relationship starts with trust, connection and equality. You are the expert in your own life, my role as a counselor is to help you find the right tools that will help you stay present in your everyday life. I approach counseling through a feminist humanistic approach. How we identify ourselves in our communities has an impact on how we feel about ourselves and each other. We are all part of a larger system and this has an impact on our mental health. I want to help clients navigate their relationship to the world around them while empowering them to explore the light they have inside themselves.
