Sonia is a passionate and dedicated holistic Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 12 years of experience. She specializes in partnering with adults and children to address a wide range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders and life transitions.
After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2012, Sonia pursued her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner track at Florida International University. She is committed to educating the next generation of clinicians as an affiliate of FIU, Walden University, and Chamberlain University, ensuring that future providers understand the importance of comprehensive mental health care.

She had a nice personality but unfortunately she is impossible to get into contact with unless its a paid followup. When i made the appointment her profile said she did in person and online, i was looking for inperson and she was one of the few in my area. then after the app was already made when i confirmed it they said it was online only, so profile should be more accurate. meds have helped though.

I genuinely love meeting with Alicia, she’s kind and very patient, I can be honest with her without the fear of harsh judgement, she’s also very thorough. I would 100% recommend her, also the guy who I speak with to schedule or when I’ve had billing questions is always so nice, he responds timely and is detailed.
