I cant say enough good things about Dr. Shimul Sahai and Jessica Kappes and all of the staff at Phoenician Pain Management in Chandler! From the nicest receptionists to the friendly nurses, to the back office staff and the sweetesShow moret little lady that takes my labs i am so happy i was referred here! Jessica Kappes is very knowledgeable and takes her time to actually listen and explain whats going on and what the options are, she's so great! Dr. Sahai is serious yet warm and friendly. She has performed 2 procedures on me so far and explained everything in a way i could understand so well that i just scheduled another procedure because they actually make a difference and help so much with pain and mobility when nothing else has worked! If your looking for a place that treats you and your pain with care and concern then Phoenician Pain Management is where you need to go!!

Shimul Sahai, MD is the owner and operator of Phoenician Pain and Rehabilitation Center in Chandler, AZ. She is a compassionate provider who listens actively to each and every patient to help them find resolution and experience a high quality of life. She offers a multi-disciplinary approach to pain management tailored to each individual patient.
A graduate of Northeastern Ohio Medical University, Dr. Sahai completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond, Virginia. She then furthered her education by completing her fellowship in Pain Management at Western Pennsylvania Hospital/Temple University in Pittsburgh, PA. She went on to finish a Dr. Sahai is double board-certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Management.

Dr Sahai is extremely caring and understanding doctor. She is always willing to listen and help. Receptionists and Nurses very friendly and communicative they don’t leave you waiting and very attentive to your needs!

I been getting pain injections from Dr Sahai since 2015 for low back epidural and neck radio frequency oblation and never had any discomfort while doing so . I’m living a better quality of life with her treatments .

Everyone was friendly and professional. Dr. Sahai listened to me, and she made me feel comfortable and hopeful that my uncontrolled pain could finally be controlled when she laid out a game plan for treatment.
