About Sherifat Forcey, NP

Sherifat Forcey, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and the founder of Forcey Behavioral Health Services in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. Sherifat founded the practice in 2022 after more than a decade of skilled mental health care experience in emergency department, hospital, long-term facility, outpatient, and telehealth settings.

Sherifat was born and raised in Nigeria in West Africa. She moved to the United States in 2005 and began her nursing career the year after. Sherifat received her registered nurse (RN) credential and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She has a nurse practitioner license in four states.

Sherifat specializes in an array of therapeutic interventions and medication-based mental health treatment plans, allowing patients and their families to lead fulfilling, productive lives within their communities. 

Sherifat truly listens to and advocates for patients using a nonjudgmental, compassionate demeanor. She deeply cares about each patient under her care, treating them like family and tirelessly helping them achieve the outstanding quality of life they deserve.
