About Seema Amin, OD

Seema Amin is a skilled and capable optometrist serving the community of New York, NY. Dr. Amin obtained her medical degree from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico. She also completed her bachelor's at University of Kansas. Dr. Amin is a part of Village Eyecare.

She is also a member of the American Optometric Association. Patients see Dr. Amin for a variety of reasons, including general eye consultations, glaucoma consultations, comprehensive, dilated eye exams, flashers and floaters, and orthokeratology / corneal refractive therapies. Before joining, she held positions at Eye Health Associates and LensCrafters in New York, NY as an optometrist and as an ophthalmic technician at Kansas City Eye Clinic in Overland Park, KS. 

Outside of her practice, Dr. Amin enjoys reading both fiction and non-fiction, watching KU basketball, and playing tennis and soccer.

Dr. Amin is sensitive to the uniqueness of each patient's situation and adapts her consultations and treatment options appropriately to accommodate individual needs and concerns. During her consultations, she fully explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan.
