About Sara Curry

Sara is a licensed independent social worker with supervisor designation. She received her Master of Science in Social Administration (MSW) from Case Western Reserve University and a Bachelors of Art from Baldwin-Wallace University. Prior to joining Providers for Healthy Living, Sara worked as a therapist in community mental health, schools, and outpatient settings. She also has several years of experience working with military families. Sara utilizes a collaborative and strengths-based approach to help navigate life challenges, including Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused and Person-Centered techniques. With over ten years of experience, she works with all ages- including early childhood, adolescents, teenagers, adults, and families to address behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment, and grief. ​Sara believes that each individual and situation is unique and strives to create a welcoming and safe environment for all.

I thought the first visit was great and she connected with my son. I do feel the questionnaires should be filled out separately and not during the session as he felt rushed and was asking me what he should answer. Looking forward to see where he will be after a few!

Sara is the best ! She is amazing working with my child through their challenges. Sara is always prepared with engaging supportive ideas and a patient listener. She works with our schedule and knows how to talk with kids which is so important. My child has grown a lot and we appreciate her. Even though the sessions are virtual, my child feels connected, heard and open to discussing hard things.
