Sanjiva Goyal, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at the Coastal Dermatology & Medspa in Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. Dr. Goyal is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and holds affiliations with the Florida Society of Dermatology & Dermatologic Surgery, the Florida Medical Association, and the American Medical Association.
After graduating with top honors from the University of Leeds Medical School in England, Dr. Goyal completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, his dermatology residency at the prestigious Cook County Hospital, Chicago, and a research fellowship at Northwestern University, Chicago. Dr. Goyal received training in cutaneous laser surgery from world-renowned laser pioneers Kenneth A. Arndt, MD, and Jeffrey S. Dover, MD, at Harvard Medical School. After completing his residency, Dr. Goyal was appointed the clinic director Department of Dermatology at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore. In August 2000, he joined Mayo Clinic Jacksonville as Senior Associate Consultant in Dermatology.
In January 2003, Dr. Goyal opened his private practice focusing on providing quality dermatologic care with the utmost integrity. His state-of-the-art facilities at the Jacksonville and Ponte Vedra Beach locations offer an expansive list of services and incorporate full-spectrum medical spas for optimal patient care and convenience. He continues to follow his passion for medical and surgical dermatology, particularly interested in non-surgical cosmetic procedures such as neurotoxins (Botox/Dysport), fillers, Kybella, and laser. He was one of the pioneers of PDO threads in the Jacksonville area and has now performed multiple PDO procedures. Dr. Goyal is one of a couple of physicians in our area who perform the authentic Vaser liposuction (ultrasound-assisted liposuction) procedure.
In his free time, Dr. Goyal enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. He also enjoys playing tennis with his sons and watching them play sports.

II was overcharge on first visit. I wasn't aware until the second visit for that I was being charged again well over 300 and something all dollars and I wasn't notified or told of this charge so I was not able to pay the amount. But I did pay half of the amount so I can get the surgery that I was scheduled for that date. I can't the places like Chipotle I was rudely spoken to derogatory treatment and also some racist tendencies against me in your office by your Bina Patel your office manager. I immediately contact my insurance to let them know of the discretions that was set before me and I also contacted my primary physician who referred me to your office I also will be putting in a complaint at the Florida medical board department never met the physician so I don't have anything to include about the physician cuz never met him. Very disappointed for wasting my time but I will be putting in my complaints to the necessary departments.

I never have an issue getting appointments, even last minute and there is reasonable wait time. Staff is professional but always full of smiles and personable. Dr Sanjiva Goyal is most attentive good listener and very gentle, caring, capable providing best service and treatment.
