About Sahar Gorany, PA-C

Sahar Ghorany, is a NCCPA board certified Physician Associate (PA-C) who specializes in the field of dermatology. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in psychology from UCLA. Her passion for medicine began at a young age. The coming together of science to address human needs and concerns to improve quality of life is what she loves most about the practice of medicine.  She obtained her Masters of Science degree from Marshal B. Ketchum University and worked as a PA in General and Bariatric Surgery before returning to the field of dermatology where she worked prior to PA school. 

Sahar is skilled in diagnosing and treating an array of skin conditions including skin cancers, acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, warts, alopecia, among others. She performs biopsies, cryotherapy, C&D, and excisions of skin cancers. Sahar is also trained to meet clients cosmetic concerns and performs treatments with v-beam and smooth beam lasers, SYLFIRM Radiofrequency Microneedling, PRP, and Botox. She enjoys enhancing a person’s natural beauty and finds much joy in helping patients look their best. 

Sahar is a member of American Academy of Dermatology, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and American Academy of Physician Associates. 

When not at the clinic she enjoys outdoor activities like taking long trail walks by the beach and visiting her local farmers market. She practices yoga and enjoys all forms of dance. Raised in multiple different countries she speaks Cantonese, Turkish, and Farsi. She loves spending time with her family and staying connected to her childhood friends. 

She is caring and personable and believes in the power of human connection. Addressing her patients’ concerns are among her top professional priorities.
