Dr. Norman takes the time to answer all my questions, as I am new to cardiology. And previously suggested a change in dosage on thyroid medication ( prescribed by another Dr) that helped relieve fatigue & return my energy level toShow more normal! Roy E. Norman, DO, is the newest cardiologist to join Northwest Houston Heart Center and is now accepting new patients at the clinic locations in Tomball, Cypress, Magnolia, and The Woodlands, Texas.
Born in Houston and raised in Caldwell, Dr. Norman is a native Texan. Dr. Norman earned his medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia. He went on to complete his internship and internal medicine residency at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth, Mississippi, where he served as chief resident. Afterward, he completed his cardiovascular fellowship at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area in Texas as chief cardiology fellow.
Dr. Norman specializes in general and invasive cardiology, management of high blood pressure and high cholesterol, peripheral vascular procedures and disease management, pacemaker implant and monitoring, cardiac arrhythmia evaluation and management, preoperative cardiac clearance, nuclear cardiology, stress testing, and echocardiography. Dr. Norman performs complex peripheral arterial disease procedures to correct the blockages in the leg arteries to restore normal circulation. He also performs the full spectrum of vein disease treatments to maintain healthy leg circulation. He has a special interest in pacemaker implantations to correct heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Norman is passionate about patient care and enjoys taking care of his patients.

I had to go to the hospital ..I had surprised heart trouble..the doctor in the hospital wanted me to go to my heart after..called Dr Norman ..he got me in the next day..set up other tests..didn't make me wait so I could feel well taken care

Dr. Norman is very patient & very thorough! He answered all of my questions. He made sure I understood the diagnosis & what that meant for me. He made sure I understood the treatment plans. Dr. Norman made sure that I was scheduled for required tests ASAP so that I wouldn't have to reschedule my cataract surgeries for the 3rd time. During my appointments, I never felt rushed. Dr. Norman is AWESOME! He's in the top 2 doctors I've ever had!

I had the best experience at this office. it was easy to set appt, only one week wait. The staff is well trained and Dr. Norman was so knowledgeable, but shared great info, and explained every step of my care. Whoever is the office manager, well done!!!
It’s a little early to leave a review after the very first visit. But I feel in very competent hands and fully trust Dr Norman. He took a lot of time for my concerns and questions and looked thoroughly into my bloodwork and I feel he works with an holistic approach. Will update after all my tests are done.
