Ronald Spillers, DDS, is an experienced aesthetic dentist who sees patients at Albemarle Dental Associates located in Charlottesville, Virginia.
Dr. Spillers graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) cum laude in 1999 and worked in Richmond, Virginia, in private practice until 2007. In Richmond, Dr. Spillers taught at VCU School of Dentistry on the adjunct faculty. He also volunteered at free local clinics. In 2006, Dr. Spillers was listed in “Richmond’s Best Of“ magazine as Richmond’s top public health dentist.
Since 2007, Dr. Spillers has lived in Afton, Virginia, and has served patients in Augusta, Highland, and Rockingham Counties. He enjoys working with children as well as patients with complex restorative needs.

Great experience. Roomed quickly. Very clear about what they were checking for and communicating findings. Fantastic front-end staff who got me seen quickly.
Dr Spillers, is an excellent dentist! He is wonderful at making you feel comfortable during cleanings and very attentive if you have an emergency!

Outstanding in every aspect
Dr. Spillers is thorough and kind. Unlike other dentists I have seen over the years, he is a "wait and see" dentist and does not pressure you to have expensive dental work. Instead he told me to continue to take good care of my teeth but to call if anything changes in my mouth. What a breath of fresh air.
As always, Dr. Spillers and staff were very kind and expedious. Will be glad to return for any routine or emergency procedures

Dr Spillers is always positive, and gives even what seems hopeless his best effort. He is never high pressure about any expensive measure; he just describes the options, and says let me know. I've only had one visit at Albemarle Dental Associates with my very complicated dental issues. What I can say so far is that Dr. Spillers is a breath of fresh air, way intelligent, insightful, lively and compassionate. But also, the rest of the staff at this practice are wonderful too. I will be back to update my experience.
So far so good. Only one visit in and I already feel so much more comfortable at the office and with Dr. Spillers. He and the staff here were excellent and made me feel at ease. I recommend if you have anxiety about dental procedures.
Dr. Spillers was very kind, gentle and thorough. He was also rather quick which was much appreciated. All staff were very friendly and welcoming too. No judgment for being overdue on dental care.
