Dr. Badwal completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto before pursuing his doctorate in dental medicine at the University of Connecticut. After graduating, he spent one year at the University of Vermont Medical Center as a hospital intern, and an additional six-year residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery. Soon after, Dr. Badwal received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997.
Along with helping patients at Associated Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, Dr. Badwal is also passionate about teaching the future generation of oral surgeons. He is an assistant clinical professor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, as well as the chief of the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery at Danbury Hospital, where he is actively involved in teaching general practice residents.
Dr. Badwal is a board-certified oral surgeon through the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has also contributed his medical insight to several chapters and textbooks.

Dr Badwal explained the procedure options clearly and patiently. His staff was efficient and pleasant.
Dr. Badwal and his team have done multiple implants for me, starting in my 70's. I have complete confidence in their abilities and expertise. All of my surgeries have gone without incident. I would recommend Dr. Badwal if you are considering dental implants.

Staff was very efficient and the doctor could not have been more knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and explained my issue and what steps were available to me very clearly. I did not feel rushed and I felt heard.

It was a good appointment. Everything was explained to me. Everything was clear. The only thing that was a little disconcerting was that the practice is our insurance told us that this practice is covered under our insurance but they do not submit claims to Medicare. This was the first time since being on Medicare that we had to contact our Medicare provider to see what we have to do to submit the claims ourselves.
I liked Dr Badwal's straight forward, factual and friendly approach to my care.

Amazing people, very friendly
Dr. Badwal and his staff were A+. My 8 yo daughter had to have 6 teeth pulled and not only did they made her feel as comfortable as they could, but they did the same for me. Very willing to go through all the questions I had & not rush me out of the consultation. Dr. Badwal explained the process in detail to both of us, so we knew what to expect. She handled the surgery like a pro and the recovery was quick, no issues whatsoever! Thank you!!

I went in gor an extraction of a tooth cauding a lot of pain. Dr. Badwal clearly explained the process and when complications arose he dealt with them skillfully for a very succesfull outcome. I highly recommend him.
My experience was a good one. I arrived for my consultation appt about 5 minutes late and was ushered into an examining room immediately, where Dr Badwal appeared about a minute after an assistant had reviewed my situation and taken my BP. Dr. Badwal showed great patience in helping me to understand what has to be done. I was able to get an appt with him next week to get the procedure started.

Having a tooth pulled along with getting an implant would normally make someone very nervous but at this office the staff could not have been more professional and compassionate to their patients. Dr. Badwell is the nicest doctor who puts you at ease the minute you meet him. My procedure went perfectly today! Thank you, doctor. I am home resting and feeling fine!
