And there’s Dr Robinson— so warm and understanding— lets you explain then ask questions after he gives the details of your scans. Explains options and probable outcomes. Then to surgery scheduling , usually Sonny, oh so sweet and accommodating to your time frames. My family has had the misfortune to need their services on to many occasions but we were blessed to have as our surgical office and team. Oh I can’t believe I left out Wendy NP. She is wonderful. Explains everything in depth and lets you ask as many questions as you need. Thank You all.
Dr. Robinson is one of the kindest people I’ve met and certainly tops the charts on bedside manner. Originally based on the west coast, Dr. Robinson earned his undergraduate degree at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. He remained in Colorado for medical school, studying at the University of Colorado’s School of Medicine in Aurora.
Selected by the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s prestigious program, Dr. Robinson relocated to Alabama for his internship and residency. His skill and precision in neurosurgery earned him the title of Chief Resident in Neurosurgery in 1998.
Dr. Robinson initially practiced in Atlanta, Georgia, and Tuscaloosa, Alabama, before joining Alabama Neurological Surgery & Spine. In 2009, he was recognized as one of America’s Best Doctors.

Dr. Robinson has repaired my neck and lower back. We came up with a plan together to prolong any surgery and we came up with a plan to fix me. Dr. Robinson always listens to my questions, concerns and pain explanations. He is very thorough with his battle plan to repair the problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Robinson and have done so many, many times!

This Office always been so caring . Dr Robison has always been very caring to me , Dr Robison stood buy me and found why I was hurting so bad , that other doctors, said nothing but Fabro. My disc was mush he took the time to find what was wrong with my neck and I’ll be forever thankful.

Dr. Robertson is the best! He operated on my back 7 years ago. Some new problems have arisen and he will be doing a different type of back surgery in January. His staff are fantastic.

Had my 4 month checkup after my alif back surgery. Surgery was a success. Pain gone. Would recommend Dr. Robinson to anyone needing back surgery.
