Beautiful clean office. Minimal wait. Both the doctor and his assistant were professional. The last few dermatologists I’ve been to did not even pretend to care. Dr Lieberman did.
All of my moles were checked and a biopsy was performed on one that I was concerned about. Dr Lieberman was very thorough and considerate as he always is.
Robert D. Lieberman, MD, FAAD, is a board-certified dermatologist and co-medical director of Thomas Dermatology. He specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for the treatment of skin cancer, in addition to his busy general dermatology practice in Thomas Dermatology’s Post Road and Henderson offices. He is also an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at UNLV School of Medicine.
He is a native of Seal Beach, California, and graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Molecular and Cell Biology. Dr. Lieberman received his medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, where he graduated with “highest distinction.” Dr. Lieberman was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in his third year of medical school, a distinction reserved for the top 5% of his medical school class.
He completed his internship in internal medicine at the UCLA/West Los Angeles VA Medical Center in Los Angeles followed by his dermatology residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, where he was selected Chief Resident. Dr. Lieberman pursued additional training in Mohs micrographic surgery under the mentorship of local and nationally recognized experts. He joined Thomas Dermatology in 2009.
Dr. Lieberman remains actively involved with the UNLV School of Medicine as the co-director of the Musculoskeletal/Skin curriculum, which allows him to continue to mentor future physicians.
Dr. Lieberman maintains his credentials with continuing education. He’s a member of the American Society for Mohs Surgery and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. He is also a consultant and speaker for several pharmaceutical companies.
He has published multiple articles in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Drugs and Dermatology and the Journal of Clinical Oncology.
In his free time, Dr. Lieberman enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons. When he is not at the office you can generally find him at the baseball diamond watching his sons’ baseball games! He has a passion for caring for his patients at Thomas Dermatology and welcomes them to the practice.

Getting a ride to my Doctor from Boulder city can be a real challenge so when I got to the office and found out that the doctor because my doctor is on vacation was behind about an hour but he was possibly going to get caught up I went for a walk out in the parking lot when I came back in they said I missed my appointment but fortunately I was able to get in and see him and he's a great doctor short and sweet took care of business and I was out the door glad that I was able to see him

Very professional doctor. He explained my diagnosis in detail and the procedures that might take place. Very knowledgeable and kind. He knows how to talk to people. He asked if I had any questions or concerns at the end. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The facility is clean and welcoming. Overall, a great medical office with great and friendly staff.

I enjoy the entire office staff they ane always polite and friendly. This is my first time going on Halloween and to see the staff and my Dr dressed in costumes was great! I am glad that this is my Dermatology group!

Dr. Lieberman is not only an excellent physician but a really nice guy. Office is run well, and support staff are pleasant and helpful. Dr Lieberman gave me a truly thorough exam and took a biopsy on a little something on my lip. In and out in 1/2 hour with no wait. HIGHLY recommend
I have been a patient of Dr. Lieberman's' for many years.....he is professional, talented, thorough, friendly and cares about his patients. I miss him at the Post Road office but I understand traveling back and forth can be difficult! He is worth the trip from Summerlin as long as its not in the early AM or late afternoon, which is a nightmare to get home.
