Dr. Campbell took an in-depth evaluation, taking into consideration all meds I have been taking, including any contra-indications or adverse reactions with snyy new meds he may prescribe for treatment of my diagnosed migraines. NShow moreone of my previous or current doctors have taken the time and thoughtfulness to even consider a diagnosis of migraines. 1 shot of Ajovy and one dose of Reyvow and my headache was tampered down for the day. I did wake-up with the migraine, but I will take another dose of Reyvow and see what happens. Finally, I know what my diagnosis is, and have the right neurologist,DO on the case to at least some relief and possible control of these debilitating headaches. Thank you Dr. Campbell for taking the time and expertise in my diagnosis and treatment regime.

Robert W. Balsiger, DO, is a local board-certified neurologist at Las Vegas Neurology Center. He has resided in Las Vegas, Nevada, since 2006. He has strong ties to the Midwest growing up in Minnesota and Ohio.
Dr. Balsiger attended The Ohio State University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in exercise physiology. He was active in the community in Columbus, Ohio, and on campus at The Ohio State University. While a full time student, he obtained a personal training certificate and was involved in geriatric exercise prescription. Dr. Balsiger was on the Dean’s List each year he attended The Ohio State University.
Following his undergraduate degree, Dr. Balsiger relocated to Henderson, Nevada. There he attended Touro University Nevada and obtained his medical degree. He was also on the Dean’s List at Touro University Nevada. He immediately recognized a need for physicians in the community. Thus, he continued his training in Las Vegas, Nevada, completing a 4 year neurology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center.
Upon completion of residency, Dr. Balsiger continues to serve the community here in Las Vegas. He is the stroke director and director of neurology at Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center. He also has a strong passion for academic medicine. He is part of the core faculty for the neurology residency at Valley Hospital Medical Center, a member of the Graduate Medical Education Committee at Valley Hospital Medical Center, and adjunct faculty for Touro University Nevada. He enjoys spending time teaching residents and medical students in an inpatient and outpatient setting. Dr. Balsiger also provides weekly neurology board examination review and neurology lectures for the neurology residents.
Aside from practicing neurology, Dr. Balsiger enjoys weight training, watching movies and traveling.

When checking in I was sent to the wrong location but the person who came to get me was very nice. But the young lady at checkout talked so fast when giving me my test instructions and was a bit irritated when I asked her a couple of questions. Great experience with the doctor. He was very kind and I felt comfortable and he was patient and explained things well.

It was an excellent experience
We were placed in an exam room in the back offices and waited for over an hour. This was an appointment for my Father in law who is 89 years old. He has Severe dementia and unable to tolerate that length of a wait time. We explained that we could not wait any longer and asked to be refunded our office visit copay-which was NOT done. We spent a total of 2 1/2 hours including our travel time, plus gas, and a $25 copay and were never seen by a doctor for our appointment that was scheduled over 2 1/2 months in advance. I asked to speak with the office manager and was told I had to wait even longer. I asked for the Ofiice Managers direct phone number/extension and was just told to call the main number. I also requested to receive all the test results that had been completed and for a written summary report of his findings or to be scheduled for a zoom meeting as we are not willing to wait over an hour to be seen in your office. As of today, NONE of my request have been met!!!!! We are EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED with the lack of service we have received in your practice! At the very least we want a refund of the office visit copay immediately!!!!!!!!!!!

Very thorough, easy to talk to. I like his physician assistant who spends lots of time explaining everything to the patient and family.
If it wasn't for Dr. balsiger I would have never known what was going on with me. Now I do and we have a plan a good solid plan and together I know I'll be okay in his care.
