I was seen on time for my appointment. The doctor was friendly and explained the procedure which needed to be done. It was done with very little pain and he knew what he was doing. I like it when doctors don't say they'll try thShow moreis or that, so I'm happy that he spelled everything out for me.
A patient for years. Dr. Patel is friendly, knowledgeable, compassionate and a good listener. His explanations of diagnoses and procedures are easy to understand. He always answers my questions. Dr. Rishi Patel, MD is a double board-certified dermatologist and dermatopathologist at Lotus Dermatology. He practices adult and pediatric medical dermatology and dermatopathology and has practiced in the Tampa Bay area since 2015.
Dr. Patel received his medical degree from and completed his dermatology residency with Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He finished his dermatopathology fellowship at New York University in New York.
He has served on the faculty at the prestigious New York University Department of Dermatology and has over 100 presentations and publications in leading peer-reviewed journals. He is an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatopathology, and American Contact Dermatitis Society.
Dr. Patel has been the recipient of numerous grants, scholarships, and awards, including the Chrenka and Toomey Foundation Scholarships and Murdough Psoriasis Center Resident Research Award.
