Rick J. Smith, MD, FACS, is an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon providing cosmetic procedures in East Lansing, Michigan, and the neighboring communities. Dr. Smith graduated with a degree in chemistry from Kalamazoo College and earned his medical degree from the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. He then completed his residency in general and plastic surgery at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, before spending a year training with craniofacial expert Dr. Ian T. Jackson.
Dr. Smith started in practice as a cosmetic surgeon in 1993, gaining extensive experience in performing aesthetic surgeries such as facial rejuvenation, rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, and body contouring. Professional experience.
