Richard Steslow, DO of South Naperville Family Practice, is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO). DOs have a more holistic philosophy -- treating the person, not just the symptoms. Dr. Steslow is also on staff at Copley Memorial Hospital in Aurora, Illinois.
For over 24 years, Dr. Steslow has been healing families with comprehensive treatments in the Naperville and Aurora, Illinois areas. He “talks the talk and walks the walk,” as he never gives advice that he himself would never follow.
Dr. Steslow’s path to his medical career began at Benedictine University, in Lisle, Illinois. He went on to the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago to become a doctor of osteopathic medicine, where he also completed his internship. Dr. Steslow finished his residency in family practice at Resurrection Hospital in Chicago.
With his medical experience encompassing the needs of the whole family, Dr. Steslow delivers quality, individualized care with the services he provides, such as nutritional counseling.
Dr. Steslow is an area local, having attended Marist High School and later Benedictine University in Lisle, Illinois. When he is not with a patient, he loves running (having completed several half-marathons), organic gardening, and spending time with his family.

I have been going to Dr.Steslow for about the last 7 years. I was pretty ill when I first saw the doctor but was always treated with respect and the staff was always looking at everything with a positive outlook. They always kept the glass half full which I needed at the time. I now go two or three times a year for a check up and bloodwork. I could not be happier! Great doctor with a great staff!

Dr. Steslow has seen myself and my family for years. He’s an excellent practitioner, he listens to his patients, seeks input, and keeps abreast as the medical field changes and evolves. He’s a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fielding nutrition and fitness questions as well. Dr. Steslow has always had friendly nurses and a caring support staff who are prompt with returning calls and scheduling appointments. In addition there is a great nurse practitioner on staff, making appointment scheduling more flexible. Over the years he has also provided top notch referrals for specialists when needed.
Not rushed very happy to have moved to his practice. Always a good experience there.

Dr. Steslow is not only very knowledgeable and kind, but he takes time and really listens to patients concerns. He uses a combination of western, Nutritional and wholistic medicine to help his patients. I always feel heard and leave with extremely helpful information.

I've been to many Drs and Dawn is the only one who I feel really listens to me and cares about me as an individual. She remembers specific details about me and my ailments with ease. I can not say enough good things about them. The wait times are certain reasonable too. Better than average for sure.
