Hands-down, Dr. Mohr and his whole staff is the BEST I have EVER experienced! They quickly reply. They are concerned. They care. My mother and stepdad, who has Alzheimer’s see him as well. He loves them! Dr. Mohr also takes care oShow moref my TBI, seizures and PTSD! I can’t say enough about how pleasant and attentive the staff is and Dr. Mohr has the BEST bedside manner!! I have NEVER felt more comfortable with anyone in the medical field, besides him and his staff, and with my conditions, that says a lot! Knowing he and his staff are caring for my parents, puts me at ease. He even does magic tricks for my stepdad! With him having Alzheimer’s, the patients revert to childhood. I cannot imagine being this comfortable with a doctor taking care of my family. My youngest son will also start seeing him, when he is too old for his pediatrician. With a passion for family medicine, board-certified physician Richard Mohr III, MD, provides education and encouragement for his patients so that they can take a proactive role in their health care. He welcomes new and existing patients to Family Medicine and Mohr in Florence, South Carolina.
Dr. Mohr earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia. After graduation, Dr. Mohr went through an internship and family medicine residency at McLeod Health Regional Medical Center in Florence.
By continuing his education and training regularly, Dr. Mohr stays abreast of the most up-to-date diagnostic and treatment solutions available. He maintains his board certification with the American Board of Family Medicine and specializes in lifestyle interventions over medications, when possible, for patients of all ages.
Dr. Mohr offers integrative solutions to help patients achieve their best health. My experience at Family Medicine and Mohr was very pleasant. The receptionist, lab personnel, and nurses were happy and helpful. Dr Mohr was fantastic. He expressed concern over the recent unexpected passing of my brother, asked how my son in PA school was doing and wanted to know about any physical or mental concerns I had. He talked and listened as if he had nothing else to do the rest of the day. I am thankful for his expertise and caring disposition.
