Very patient and informative
Like most women going to the gynecologist is "not fun" but Dr Podolsky makes you feel very comfortable and at ease. She is very easy to talk to.
Dr. Podolsky is a general gynecologist with a passion for women’s health and a wide range of clinical interests. Some of her interests are: well woman care, the management of abnormal pap smears, medical and surgical management of abnormal bleeding, adolescent gynecology, gynecologic surgery, preconception care, family planning and contraception. She has travelled to El Salvador and Guatemala with Basic Health International and Saving Mothers, organizations working to improve women’s health in the developing world.
A native New Yorker, she is a graduate of Harvard College and of the New York University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Langone Medical Center, where she received the Society for Maternal Fetal Medicine’s Resident Award for Excellence in Obstetrics and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists’ Special Resident in Minimally Invasive Gynecology Award. She then worked for the NYU Faculty Group Practice as an obstetrician/gynecologist before joining NY Comprehensive Women’s Health. She enjoys bike riding, travel and spending time with her family.

Great, thorough staff
After first seeing a doctor that provided no answers, Dr. Podolsky finally helped me! I am appreciative for her ability to both listen to my concerns and provide answers/explanations that were easy to understand. The entire staff was welcoming, kind, and remembered me when I returned for my follow up appointment. I am so happy to have finally found a trustworthy GYN in Manhattan that I can see!

The experience was generally very good- I have been seeing Dr. Datta for a few years and have always liked her, she is thorough and very personable, the front office staff is also pleasant, and despite the fact that the office was very busy, the wait was just a few minutes. There were just two reasons for a rating of four stars instead of five: My first issue was that the floor in the exam room was filthy. I wondered if they could make the investment of buying IPads for check-in, couldn't they invest in hiring a person to clean the floor? (Other than that, the offices are fine- just that dirty, muddy floor!) Also, the "one size fits all" exam gowns don't even come close to fitting a plus-size woman. One would think they could have some larger gowns in the office for the comfort of people who come in a variety of sizes. Otherwise, I like Dr. Datta and trust her as my doctor.
