Dr Rao changed a test that I was going to have. What he said new test would be more complete for what we are looking for. I think it was a God thing too. The only issue was they were a hour behind for my appointment, which sometimes happens. The staff and Dr. were great.

Graduating with a Bachelor of Science and his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Rao continued his cardiology training at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He went on to complete his interventional cardiology fellowship training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts.
At Heart Care Centers of Florida, Dr. Rao specializes in innovative therapies to relieve blockages in the blood vessels and the heart. He has a special interest in advanced peripheral vascular procedures like endovascular aneurysm repair and transradial coronary interventions.
Dr. Rao also enjoys educating both his patients and medical team on the treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. He believes in community involvement and stays active in multiple organizations that assist people throughout Brevard County.
When not serving his patients, Dr. Rao enjoys spending time with his loving wife and partner Sudha and their two beautiful daughters, Shanti and Meera.
