Ratko Vujicic, MD, or Dr. V, as his patients like to call him, has practiced for 30 years, with the goal of helping patients in Rock Hill, South Carolina, and Charlotte, North Carolina, find relief from their chronic pain so they can return to a thriving life. Dr. Vujicic serves patients at his practice, V Pain Clinic.
With board certification in anesthesiology and pain management, he combines his expertise with a dedication to providing individualized treatment. He’s proud to be available in the office so he can offer timely appointments and personally work with each patient to find solutions to their health care needs.
Dr. Vujicic graduated from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine in Croatia, Europe, then went on to finish his internship at the University Hospital Rebro in Zagreb. He was a guest resident in the transplant department at the University Hospital in Graz, Austria, then served as an emergency room staff physician at the US Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH) in Zagreb.
After relocating to Portland, Maine, Dr. Vujicic served as an intern, anesthesiology resident, and chief resident at Maine Medical Center. From there he completed a fellowship in pain management at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. He has been in private practice since 2003.

I saw Dr. V for the first time. He is the fourth Pain Specialist anesthesiologist. I have seen for my chronic condition. He offered an option that was not available through my other providers. He took the time to evaluate me. Did a thorough exam and needless to say, I was thoroughly impressed with his practice and the non-hurried atmosphere. Love Dr. V and all of his staff. Over many years I have seen 5-6 pain doctors, and he is by far the best. The entire office and staff is very efficient and listens to the patient's problems and does everything they can do to fix them.

Dr V is very thorough in his diagnosis and very clear in explaining the procedure he is recommending. The staff is also very attentive to me needs and very helpful. I highly recommend Dr V if anyone is having a pain issue.

I was having some acute problems and the girls got me right in. So thankful for this practice. Dr. V always explains everything so you know exactly what is going on. Never feel rushed, a rarity in most practices. The whole office gets the highest praise.
