Dr. Krishnan earned his medical degree from Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in Manipal, India, graduating in 1998 with honors. He moved back to New York City for his anesthesiology residency at the Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn and stayed on as chief resident in anesthesiology.
In 2004, Dr. Krishnan completed his fellowship in pain medicine and regional anesthesia at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (UIHC) in Iowa City, Iowa.
At Island Interventional Pain Management, Dr. Krishnan treats patients with back and neck problems, including sciatica and spinal stenosis. Best Pain Management Dr. He never rushes. He always listens to everything you say and truly cares about your well-being.
Dr Krishnan always makes me feel comfortable. He is very patient when explaining procedures. He’s courteous and answers my questions even if I asked before. I certainly would recommend him. The staff is also very courteous. The office is clean and welcoming. Wait time is short and Dr Krishnan never rushes.

I have been going to Dr. Raj since 2016. He is the best. I recently had 2 nerve block injections in my occipital nerve. I can't say enough how patient , kind & a no rush attitude Dr. Raj has. He is the best!
