P.M. Shah MD, FACC
Dr. P.M. Shah is the proud founder of Cary Cardiology. He began serving our communities in 1981 and his cardiac experience expands multiple decades.
Dr. Shah completed his studies at Baroda Medical College, M.S. University, in India, and his residency and cardiology fellowship at Hackensack Hospital, Hackensack, NJ. He also holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree from S.S.G. Hospital in Baroda, India.
Over the years, Dr. Shah has actively served on multiple committees and quality improvement projects. Several of his patients fondly recall the early years of the practice and have built long-standing relationships with Dr. Shah. He enjoyed treating many patients from his early days at Cary Cardiology up to the end of 2022 when he retired.
Dr. Shah now has more time to enjoy spending quality time with his family—especially his grandchildren and wife, Harsha Shah. When not traveling, Dr. Shah is still active in our community and works with nonprofit organizations.
