About Phyllis Stroud, MFT

Phyllis is an LMFT and she earned her MA in clinical psychology from Azusa Pacific University. She works in private practice in Upland and Claremont areas. Her professional experiences focus on children, adults, and seniors who are experiencing mood disorders such as anxiety and depression along with difficulty in relationships, grief and loss, women’s issues, and seniors who are trying to navigate the next phase of life. She works with individuals who are enduring family and work stress. Before joining EASE, Phyllis worked for San Gabriel Pomona regional Center and has extensive experience with developmentally challenged children and adults. Phyllis has provided services in critical incidents and has done critical incident stress debriefing with first responders and their families. Phyllis has received continuing education in trauma, motivational interviewing, seeking safety and working with gender expensive young people.
