About Dr. Phillip Morris, PsyD

Dr. Morris is a licensed psychologist with specialized training and experience in family psychology and clinical neuropsychology. He obtained his master’s degree and doctoral degree from Azusa Pacific University, an APA-accredited clinical psychology program in Southern California. As part of his doctoral degree (Psy.D.) Dr. Morris wrote a dissertation entitled Enhancing Parent-Child Attachments in Middle Childhood. He also conducted research in the area of neuropsychology. In addition to owning and operating McKinney Neuropsychology, Dr. Morris is a faculty member for the University of Phoenix, a position he has held since 2009. He also holds hospital privileges at the Medical Center of McKinney and is a board member for Tracks 4 Kids, a non-profit organization that provides group therapy and skill building for children with ADHD, Autism, and other neurodevelopment conditions.

Dr. Morris has helped my daughter and our family tremendously, and in numerous ways. The psych testing he did on our daughter was extensive, thorough, and used current resources & technology. The evaluation was very detailed, and he explained it so that we and our daughter could understand, along with giving us a direction to go. His insights made it obvious he knows what he's talking about, even tho he looks very young. Counseling with him's been a godsend. Super nice doc who really cares!

Dr. Morris and his staff are by far the best psychology group in North Texas. Dr. Morris has gone above and beyond to help our family in the last two plus years.
