I have had a chronic cough and issues with acid reflux for almost 15 years. I was passed from specialists to specialists for 15 years with no real look at what was actually causing all of this. I was with a friend and having a hugShow moree coughing outburst, he then told me about having the same issue and how many specialists they saw to figure out the real issue. He referred Dr Woodworth and I set and appointment. After going thru 6 different tests, Dr Woodworth showed me what was going on. I decided on the Linx surgery and 1 day after surgery, I'm pleased with the immediate results of getting this done. Thank you Dr Woodwarth, wish I found you 15 years ago when this started
Thank You Dr. Woodworth It was great to finally find someone who could listen to what my problems were. And then give me answers to what could be done to fix what was going on. The best part was that everything could all be done Show moreall at one place. I no longer had to wait for appointments for weeks and have to drive all over the place to have a test here and there. I now have my hiatal hernia fixed and had the linx device placed on my lower esophagus. Now I can enjoy eating without the problems.

I would highly recommend that if you have to see any doctor about Acid Reflux issues that this be the office and staff to see.

Dr. Woodworth asked thoughtful questions, took the time to really understand the issue and didn't push surgery. He was very caring and wanted to ensure the procedure would be beneficial.

Dr. Woodworth himself is great. His in-office PA (can't recall her name) is also great. If it were just the 2 of them, I would have given 5 stars. However, his office staff is another thing altogether. It's ridiculously difficult to get someone on the phone. Even when it's urgent, it can take 3-4 hours to get a callback; likewise for post-op issues. Several of the staff also lacks in communication skills (i.e., listening and providing information). One was quite rude to me over the phone.
The staff and Dr Woodworth were great to deal with on a personal level. Looking forward to go back for my update after testing
I am almost two weeks out from a hiatal hernia repair and linx surgery. Post surgery I was relatively pain free, had about 2 days of shoulder pain which was explained in the post procedure information which was provided. Now I am following the diet recommendations and am doing really well. All the problems I was having in the months leading up to this are gone. Dr. Woodworth and his team wonderful and I have no regrets in having the surgery.
Refreshing, a surgeon with a sense of humor…obviously dedicated to me as a patient and my well being. I am so happy with his attention to detail and advice.
