Just had my first appointment with Penny and I am very pleased! I went to my first ever derm appt at another practice earlier this year and was disappointed that the doctor only saw me for 10 minutes, hardly looked at or discussedShow more my skin, and immediately recommended a cosmetic chemical peel, which I did but didn't think it helped nor was a long term solution. Penny did the opposite of that, I felt heard and diagnosed, and I feel excited to start a longer-term treatment plan with a prescription. She was easy to talk to and I am very happy to be working with her!

Penny Ng, APRN, MSN, FNP-C, is a certified and licensed nurse practitioner in cosmetic and medical dermatology at Fiore Dermatology in San Carlos, California.
A native of the Bay Area, Penny Ng was born and raised in San Francisco. After completing her Bachelor of Science and Nursing at California State University, Sacramento (CSUS) in 2013, Penny moved to Los Angeles to further her training at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center’s Nurse Residency Program, where she then worked as an ICU nurse for several years.
During her time at UCLA, Penny Ng decided to become a Nurse Practitioner and had a special interest in Dermatology. After completing her Master’s in Nursing at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, she gained her dermatology experience by working as a Registered Nurse in Stanford Health Care’s Dermatology Department.
Subsequently, she worked as a nurse practitioner at Golden State Dermatology in the East Bay offices and then Aesthetic Dermatology and Skin Cancer in San Francisco and Mill Valley.
In her spare time, Penny collects exotic plants and volunteers for animal welfare organizations. She is also currently working on her Doctorate of Nurse Practitioning
