You may think that your wait time is unwarranted , but when it's your time with him he'll be just as thorough with you and your needs.
Paul Worrell, DO, leads the team at Dallas Family Medicine in Dallas, Texas. His goal for the clinic was to create a space where he could treat the entire family. Dr. Worrell finds it incredibly rewarding to treat three and sometimes even four generations of the same family.
Dr. Worrell graduated with honors from The University of Texas at Austin before receiving his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center in Ft. Worth, Texas. As Associate Professor of Family Medicine, he has taught numerous medical students, nurse practitioners, PA students, interns, and residents throughout his career.
Knowing the entire family helps Dr. Worrell have a comprehensive understanding of each patient's needs. He believes in taking a conservative approach to treating patients, with surgery and even certain drugs being the last alternative. It sucked. Same as always. My appointment was at 4pm, I wasn't seen until 525pm. Worrell immediately tried to upsell me, labs and calcium scans, etc. All I needed was a prescription filled. Dr. Spent about 3 minutes and was done.

Everyone there cares about the patients.We moved out of the area , became patients at another family medicine office for 5 years.I decided in 2022 ,I needed to return to Dallas family medicine.I’ve always felt confident leaving our appointments. Dr Worrell and his staff is very thorough and honest .
I arrived on my appointed time and was fairly quickly accommodated to an examination room for my physical. The blood draws were completely painless. Very pleased with the nurses and physicians Professionalism and attentiveness.

it takes a long time to be seen. And when your self pay, extra tests should not be required , without asking can it be afforded. Besides that, I am very satisfied with the Dr office.

Dr is very thorough in explanation with my health issues. I arrived @11:00am my appointment was 11:15am.i did t get to see the doctor until 12:30. That was a long wait.

I have been coming to Dr. Worrell for 20 years. He is an awesome doctor who cares about his patients. However, the front office is horrible so unprofessional. Dr. Worrell needs to hire people who know how to treat his patients.

Dr. Worrell has always been the absolute most amazing doctor. He does not just always give medicines but rather gives suggestions on how to take certain options to improve your body and health and is definitely a holistic doctor. The books he has written are extremely helpful and well worth purchasing and using.
