My name is Patrick Wambugu. I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I earned my bachelor’s in nursing from Mid-America Nazarene University and a master's in nursing from the University of Missouri Kansas City. I went on to complete a Doctorate in Behavioral Health at Freed Hardeman University in Tennessee. I have over two decades of mental health experience.

Really love Dr. Wambugu. I genuinely feel that he has my best interests in mind and communicates exactly that, which is reassuring. It’s also so helpful to have a doctor of color when you are mixed like myself, since it can be easier to relate and explain cultural aspects to mental health. Thank you Dr!
