Patrick Dixon, APNP?
Patrick W. Dixon, DNP, APNP, is a doctor of nursing practice at Advanced Spine and Pain Clinics in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Patrick started his undergraduate studies at Rio Hondo College in Whittier, California, and completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Viterbo University in La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 2010. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, specializing as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner, from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2016.
Patrick has a strong interest in promoting wellness and disease prevention, as well as treating patients through the entire spectrum of illness to wellness. In addition to traditional medical services, Patrick is excited to offer functional medicine services such as peptide therapy, IV infusion, and regenerative products to address pain, sleep, mood disorders, inflammatory conditions, and weight management. Patrick and the team at Advanced Spine and Pain Clinics also offer entire functional medicine programs incorporating medical weight loss, bioidentical hormone replacement, body composition optimization, nutrition counseling, and sleep evaluation.
Functional medicine is ideal for patients who are willing to make an investment in themselves to pursue wellness by optimizing the five pillars of health: Diet, Sleep, Activity, Nutrition, and Hormones. A typical program lasts three months and involves functional lab studies, dietary counseling, medication management, exercise evaluation, and hormone optimization if needed. Patients typically move better, feel better, use fewer or no prescription medications, and have a greater sense of wellness. Incorporating aesthetics into a functional medicine program is a great way to look as well as you feel! We can add services such as the PRP (vampire) facial to any program.
Outside of the office, Patrick enjoys spending time with family, golfing, biking, cooking, and traveling.

Patrick Dixon is amazing
NP Patrick Dixon is very thorough and nothing short of fantastic. He’s very knowledgeable and gives realistic recommendations.
Pat is a very knowledgeable and straight forward medical professional. I highly recommend him to anyone and everyone trying to find help with their health issues and needs answers
Patrick is amazing
Patrick is a very kind, knowledgeable, and patient Dr. I trust him 100% to provide me with the best care possible for my situation. His knowledge on the newest procedures have been eye opening for me, and extremely promising. I would recommend him to anyone that deals with chronic pain. Also, his nurse Brandy may just be one of the the kindest humans alive.
I always have a great appointment with Patrick. He always explains everything to me very well to me. He is friendly, a good listener, takes time to answer all my questions. I would recommend him to any of my family and friends.
Very informative. Offered other suggestions which I have tried. With no success. Arie one of the pharmacists suggested that since I have to take several meds in the morning could negate success. Since I have the opportunity to opt out of the program I feel it best for me to do that. Pat said he noted I could be refunded since I am not re enrolling
Patrick, is by far is one of the most understanding, compassionate, kind, & explanatory NP I've had the privilege of working with in past & present. He looks you in the eye's and treats you as a person! I suffer from a debilitating syndrome & he understands this debilitating pain & that it affects the entire body. He is willing to discuss other options & has always treated me with the utmost respect. As a retired Certified Surgical Technologist, we both know the medical terms we discuss and I feel at ease with him treating my pain. Patrick has always been a joy to talk to & we get straught to the point. His explanations of ideas are easy to understand and I'm happy to have found my way back, to being in his care. Thank you for helping me feel better about my treatments plans, & for really listening to me! And for not constantly questioning my disabilities! Life is hard enough living with EDS its a painful connective tissue disorder & sometimes a storm. This team works great together!!
Patrick is always great. Genuinely seems to care and has come up with more things to help than any other dr I’ve seen

Patrick always explains things thoroughly. He also is a great listener.
Patrick Dixon N.P. Is knowledgeable, kind and been able to help me with my pain and back problem.
Patrick is great. Listens well, is understanding & empathetic
Very professional yet personal and attentive to my needs
Dr Dixon takes his time with me and checks on the status of the things he's tried to treat me for, like the ongoing migraines, the SI Fusion surgery status (pending until after the holidays) and MyStim battery surgery. It's still a little difficult to get refills on some medications, when they run out before I'm scheduled to see him again. But, everyone is usually very nice and friendly when I'm there.
Patrick is always on top of the latest treatments for my issues. He suggests different things to do or try and is genuinely kind when I am interacting with him. He always goes above and beyond and makes me feel like I’m not alone in this chronic pain struggle.
The staff is always ready to help. With smiles.
