Patricia Modad, MD, is an award-winning, board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who provides patient-centered care at Palm Coast OB GYN in Palm Coast, Florida. With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Modad takes a holistic and comprehensive approach to women’s health.
After earning her Bachelor of Science at the University of Arizona in Tucson and graduating Summa Cum Laude, Dr. Modad received her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, also in Tucson.
Dr. Modad continued her training at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana, completing her residency in obstetrics and gynecology. During her residency, Dr. Modad received the “Art of Medicine” award, given to the graduating resident who demonstrates the most humanistic approach to patient care.
Dr. Modad moved to Florida in 2009 and established Palm Coast OB GYN in 2011. In 2014, Dr. Modad received the “Hero of Compassion & Service Award” from the TEARS Foundation for her outstanding care and compassion to bereaved families during the loss of their children.
The TEARS Foundation seeks to compassionately lift the financial burden from families who have lost a child, providing funds to assist with the cost of burial and cremation services. The Foundation also offers parents comprehensive bereavement care through grief support groups and peer companions.
Dr. Modad is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Modad has been my doctor for several years. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She takes the time to listen to my concerns, and I always feel confident with her plan of treatment. Her office staff is very kind and caring, and the office is very private and welcoming. Highly recommend!
Dr Modad's bedside manner is unbeatable. She takes the time to listen and address all of my concerns. Most important of all, she follows up ...is genuinely concerned , and in my case, helps me with preventing measures to make sure I remain as healthy as possible. Her staff and office are impecable.
