The Office staff is Warm, Organized and Knowledgeable. I was checked Show morein and seen in less then 3 minutes by the Doctor. The Office is a Beautiful Quiet retreat and the exam rooms are tranquil and comfortable. Dr.Matheis takes time with each patient and really listens to their questions and concerns. She is super Knowledgeable and a True Expert. I recommend her to all My Family and Friends.
Dr. Matheis is an excellent doctor. She does a professional job checking for any concerned spots on my skin. Dr. Matheis and her staff always make me feel comfortable at each appointment. I would recommend her to anyone!
Dr. Matheis was born in Omaha, Nebraska. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Creighton University in 1988, and later pursued her interest in skin disease and skin surgery at the renowned North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center in Chapel Hill. She conducted research at the Shriners Burns Institute in Texas. At the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, she attended medical school and conducted investigations into the genetics of skin cancer and the immunology of the skin.
She finished her training at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill where she completed her internship in medicine and residency in Dermatology in 2006.
Dr. Matheis has 2 wonderful children. In her spare time she enjoys cycling, baking and participating in church activities.
