I spent my childhood and later years sitting endlessly in the dentist's chair. Through my early adult life, I would avoid going to the dentist at almost any cost. I knew that sitting in the chair would be a practice in pain manageShow morement. And then I started going to Dr. Gleaner after I moved to Bayonne. He and his team have always been amazing. They listen and ask questions about my issues, and when they reassure me, they are pretty much always right. Dr. Gleaner is the kind of dentist everyone should have. Everything is explained to me before we start. He talks to me during the procedure to keep me updated. And really takes personal interest in his patients. I do not dread going to the dentist anymore. I actually sort of look forward to it. I would not go anywhere else! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
Can not say enough about Dr. Gleason or his staff. From the minute I called to make an initial appointment for my dad Karen went above and beyond. On the day of my dad's appointment Karen called me to tell me my dad got to his appointment and that Dr. Gleaner will be seeing him soon. Soon there after Dr. Gleaner took time out to call me to explain to me what was going on with my dad and also discussed future treatment. Dr. Gleaner is the best! Highly recommend this practice. That has to be the best place ever!!! ( that is coming from my dad ) lol! He can't wait for his next visit!
David Gleaner, DMD, is a family dentist bringing more than three decades of experience to Dr. David Gleaner Family Dentistry, serving people of all ages living in and around Bayonne, New Jersey, and throughout Hudson County.
Dr. Gleaner began his career pursuits at Fairleigh Dickinson University Dental School in Teaneck, New Jersey, earning his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry. Afterward, he completed residency training at Kings County Hospital Medical center in Brooklyn, New York.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Gleaner has specialized in family dentistry. He loves working with children and regularly visits elementary schools in the area to teach young people about the importance of dental health as well as to promote dentistry as a career.
Dr. Gleaner proudly holds membership in the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He also serves as the President of the Hudson County Dental Society.
When he isn’t at the office developing custom treatment plans, Dr. Gleaner enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. Dr. Gleaner is active in the Bayonne community. He regularly volunteers with the Special Olympics and dedicates time annually to “Give Kids a Smile Day” and “Children’s Dental Health Day.”

I’ve been working w doctor Gleaner for a few years now. Staff always makes sure your comfortable and they’ve always been transparent and straightforward with any work you need done. I usually don’t like dentist visits but I trust my teeth are in good hands here!
I had a very positive first visit , the staff was engaged to my needs and concerns. The doctor as well, was very attentive and resourceful as to what to do to achieve better dental health results.

The hygienist cleaned my teeth, and she was rough in removing the plaque from my teeth. My gum was hurting whole time. I told that I have a brain nerve pain, but I don't know why she didn't take this into consideration. Dr. Gleaner made time in his busy schedule to take care of my teeth and listen to my concerns. Dr. Gleaner has been the dentist for my family for many years. Dr. Gleaner is the best !!!

Dr. Gleaner treated me like family. He addressed the problem I was having with care. Dr. Gleaner gently treated my dental issues with little discomfort.
The dental hygienist made my tooth cleaning about as pleasant as it could be. Dr. Gleaner did a good job explaining my situation and making suggestions as to improving and maintaining my dental health. Kim at the front desk was also very helpful.

May 21st was my first visit to the office. The receptionist at the desk was amazing wish I can say that about my insurance, but she got the job down. Over for being a big baby and having a phobia of dentist everyone was very respectful. Thank you for making me feel comfortable .
