A board-certified urologist, Dr. Lesani provides care not only to Las Vegans but also to patients from Southern Utah as well as Northern Arizona.
Dr. Lesani attended the University of Texas Health Science Center, where he earned his medical degree. He later completed a surgical internship and urology residency at Case Western Reserve School of Medicine in Cleveland, and a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine in Chicago. He served as an instructor of urology at Northwestern Medical Center prior to joining Las Vegas Urology.
Dr. Lesani adheres to the philosophy that “it’s not the cancer you remove from the patient, but rather it’s the patient you preserve from cancer.” This focus on patient care shines through in his work, and he remains dedicated to providing the safest, least disruptive, minimally invasive care whenever possible, including the latest in robotic procedures.
As a highly respected robotic surgeon and a fellowship-trained urologist in southern Nevada, Dr. Lesani‘s academic work has been presented at urology conferences at home and abroad. In his spare time, he gives back to his peers and the medical community, publishing articles and authoring chapters in books such as the “Mastery of Surgery” and “Management of Urologic Malignancies.” He serves as an invited faculty for the North American Robotic Urology Symposium, an organization dedicated to promoting cutting edge advances in robotics surgery.

I have been going to Las Vegas for at least 20 years plus with Dr. David Larson. When Dr. Larson retired for some reason I cannot explain I was connected to Dr. Lesani. In my opinion he is a very low level Dr. I have ever had. When you try to get an appointment I always was treated as a second rate patient. I had a catheter for FOUR MONTHS and every time I wanted to talk to the Dr. I got a PA and in my opinion all I got from the PA was lip service. Never any solutions, then when the Dr. decided to do TURP surgery he was about three hours late. When the Dr did show up to talk to me, he didn’t even look me in my face the eye, as always. So my opinion and only my is I would recommend another Dr. at Las Vegas Urology or find another Dr. at some other urology. If I could I would give this Dr. no star.

I would do 5 stars however the office staff is why I won't. Dr. Lesani is great he helped during a very scary time in ny dad's life and provided all information we needed and answered all of our questions pre and post op. The office staff on the other hand was rude, inconsiderate, and unwilling to listen to patients when they came in or called on the phone. I have recommended people to doctor Lesani but always have to tell them you will be greeted by some of the worst front office staff and surgery schedulers I have ever encountered but he is a great doctor.
Dr. Lesani was professional, and thorough. While the circumstance is concerning, I left with a feeling of confidence.
Dr Lesani was pleasant, professional and straight forward…he discussed my husband’s problem and options for treatment.
The biopsy was no where near as I bad as i anticipated. The shot in my hip hurt more. By the way, the nurse is really, really great You should listen to her!!

Firstly, office was extremely busy. Appt was at 3:40. Arrived at 3:05. Line was 10 deep by the time I got to desk it was 3:50. Dr. Was focused on Laptop explained results of urine test. Explained what process was going to be like. Explained procedures. Vert cut and dry. Dr is truly overloaded with patients. From the time I got there 1 goes in 3 arrive.
Straight to the point and did not waste time testing or giving more info than needed. Referred to a Specialist who deals with my health related issue.
