This was the latest and last of several appointments with Dr. Osmani and his staff. As with all the others appointments, his staff was as friendly as if I was a first time patient. Dr. Omar N. Osmani is an orthopedic surgeon with dual sub-specialty fellowship training in Spine and Joint Replacement surgery. He completed his orthopedic training at the world-renowned Kenton Leatherman Spine Center and The University of Louisville in Kentucky. In 2004 he moved to Roswell, NM and has since called it home. Dr. Osmani has been actively involved with his patients, addressing their concerns with compassion and care, and with a solid scientific foundation. He has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and has been an acting pioneer in the community, introducing the latest cutting edge technologies. Among the many significant contributions to his field, Dr. Osmani developed an innovative closure technique for Total Hip Replacement that prevents hip dislocation. This procedure was referred to in Campbell’s Orthopedics, the most trusted reference for orthopedic surgeons. Being in rural New Mexico does not deter him from pursuing and keeping up with the latest cutting edge technologies and making them available to the southeastern New Mexico inhabitants. His goal is to adopt the new technologies that make surgery less invasive, resulting in less collateral damage and faster recovery. As a testament to this commitment, he was the first to perform and introduce the following procedures and technologies in New Mexico:

Waiting period was long. They ask to show at half hour early the appointment was at 2. I waited hour or more it took him 15 minutes to tell me the diagnosis
First time I saw this doctor he kept me waiting for over two hours,during the 4 minutes he was there I told him I was not able to do my work as a self employed welder and I could do tell he couldn’t care less I have been shut down for for over 19 months and am trying to find a solution to my injury- basically a know it all attitude and get out of my way! I’m not to too sure exactly what to do about my injury. I have never been injured before, I do not know exactly what is wrong but something is way wrong! This is a very serious Problem as I am not able to make a living doing this is extremely tense positional work. I am sure that he is making a good ckeck as a Doctor. I am very disappointed with the get out of my way I’m busy attitude!

Dr Osmani spent good amount if time with me! He explained my situation so I could understand. Staff was very helpful and nice! I look forward to my next visit. Working with all at this practice to resolve my health issue!!
Great experience overall. The only issue was not crowding in the waiting room but hopefully with their new facility opening up soon maybe 11/2024 (?) that should help. Dr Osmani and his staff were very kind and helpful. If I had any questions they would answer. I recommend Dr Osmani.
