I came in with a broken ankle that had been set in an emergency room. Dr. Obinna Mgbako removed the temporary cast and examined the break. He explained what had to be done and an estimate of timing. Since 1st step is to heal the sShow morekin to prevent infection he treated the damaged area, draining the blister and dressing it with anti notice to assist in the healing process. He was gentle throughout the whole process and answered all my questions before placing it in a hard boot. He wanted to examine it in 2 days. He will redress it at that time and plan for a date in 3 weeks when it is healed. He also explained it might be a little longer if it heals slower. He truly appeared to be concerned about my injury, my questions, my pain level and to include my primary Dr. to be sure he knew what the situation was. I feel confident in his treatment of the injury to return me to the ability to walk again.

Dr Mgbako was able to remove most of the callus and was able to walk out without any pain at all. He explained how the callus was formed and also has an excellent understanding of diabetes. He was originally recommended by my PCP and Endocrinologist.
Dr. Mgbako always makes me feel genuinely cared for, seen and he listens. Once treated he likes to follow up to ensure issue is resolved.
