Outstanding Dr Mgbako highly recommended I went from not walking from using scooter months fir 9 months to a year . I was sad broken hearted didn’t think I would walk again The very first day Dr Mgbako Mgbako took charge of my Show moreamputated 5 amputated toes . He gave me hope he would heal my foot in possibly 2 months by Christmas . l couldn’t believe it would be that fast I could possibly Be healed and walk again . The miracle healing came 3 days after Christmas! I started walking in 2 months and 3 days of treatments I started my first steps at 3am 3 days after Christmas years flowing as I walked each step strap Velcro shoe and a cane Couldn’t wait to wake up my daughter to witness my healing in action !The treatments he performed was outstanding miraculous . Every visit he handled my foot with Tender loving healing and care. His great big smile contagious !!! This was in 10/2021. By 12/28/21 my foot was sealed binded and bonded together and I started walking like nothing ever happened .Everyday I walk head high proud of my each and every step thanking Lord Jesus and Dr Obinna Mgbako Now My steps have walked 3 hours in My first vacation 7/2024 to Florida no scooter no wheelchair no cane and went to Florida 2nd time enjoyed time with my grandchildren Last year in 5/24 I walked 7 hours in Florida universal studios I’m walking any time anywhere everywhere still visiting My Dr magbako faithfully every 2 months for check up and nails cut joyful everyday with my Blessed steps . Dr. Obinna Mgbako is a gifted podiatrist providing care to patients at the Scotch Plains & Union, New Jersey offices of the Foot & Ankle Specialists of New Jersey. Dr. Mgbako is certified to treat all foot and ankle pathology and specializes in lower leg limb salvage, diabetic wound care, and reconstructive and reparative foot and ankle surgery including minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques.
Dr. Mgbako completed his bachelor’s degree at New York University before earning his doctor of Podiatric Surgery and Medicine at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He served his residency at the Morristown Memorial Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association, an associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Podiatric Association of Sports Medicine, and the American Academy of Podiatric Practice Management.

Excellent service and treatment plan. I went because current doctor was giving shots and recommended surgery. My heart doctor recommended that I go to Dr. Mgbako because his family go there. I am going to try physical therapy and purchasing certain shoes to avoid having shots and surgery. He also recommended that I wear my boots every day for 30 minutes each foot.

First time visit to Dr Mgbako (or any Podiatrist) for a painful callus on the ball of my right foot. I had concerns about the issue with also being a T2 diabetic. Dr Mgbako was able to remove most of the callus and was able to walk out without any pain at all. He explained how the callus was formed and also has an excellent understanding of diabetes. He was originally recommended by my PCP and Endocrinologist.
Dr. Mgbako always makes me feel genuinely cared for, seen and he listens. Once treated he likes to follow up to ensure issue is resolved.
