I really like Dr. Jawad Riaz’s practice and supporting staff. All of them are professional yet warmly personable. I like how there options on the phone are quick and to the point and if you do leave a message, they return the pShow morehone call quickly. I was surprised by a phone call that a phlebotomist could come out and take my blood work in my own home instead of me having to go anywhere to get my blood drawn. The best thing is having virtual appointments. ~ Holly L.

We were very pleased with how personable a zoom appt could and did become, especially considering the sensitive ground it must cover.

We adore our provider, Nkechinyere Iwouorisha. She is so kind and on point with diagnosing. We have been blessed with her treating our daughter and will continue to use Mava.
Office staff is generally not helpful. On at least 2 occasions I have accepted an appointment via a link sent in email, only to have the appointment changed or cancelled later with no notice. The office staff blames the scheduling system, that they have no control of. Frustrating to arrange a family calendar to fit around an appointment that gets cancelled or changed without notice.

I greatly appreciate the patience of the staff and Miss NKE. I love her bubbly personality. She listens to me and tries to help me. I like the online forum. If I am in crisis they normally can fit me in. The staff listen and take time to hear you. This is by far the best psychiatrist office and I have been to a lot over the years.
Miss Nicki is warm, sweet, and caring.
It's been a pleasure working with Dr Niki. She's firm when she needs to be but is also very compassionate and friendly. I look forward to continuing to meet with her on a regular basis.

Very disappointed with the phone representative calling from a spam number in New York. Tried to charge me for my entire insurance deductible. Apparently doesn’t know how insurance works. Very unprofessional. Though the therapist, Miss Nikki is fine. No problems with her.
Nikki is a great provider and she listens to all my concerns. If you want someone to listen and help get medications correct she is the provider to use.
NKECHINYERE IWUORISHA is a very compassionate provider who spends time talking through your diagnosis and treatment plan ...she is conservative when prescribing controlled medications, but she will adjust medication and/or dosage if a medication is not working correctly during follow-up visits...she is very authentic and a true professional...

My experience was somewhat conflicted because your microphone was not working at all. The clinician and receptionist were excellent, and I had the most wonderful experience with them. The only problem I had was the malfunctioning of the microphone.
I am extremely pleased with Mava Behavioral Health. The office staff is always kind and helpful. They are very responsive, fast and efficient. My daughter's provider, Nkechinyere Iwuorisha is helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Mava Behavioral Health.
