Dr. Nilesh Patel is a true New Yorker having grown up and received all his education from elementary school through otolaryngology residency in New York City.
He attended the prestigious Sophie Davis School of Medicine accelerated seven year BS/MD program and graduated from New York University School of Medicine in 1995. After completing a general surgery internship at the State University of New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn in 1996, he remained there to complete specialty training in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency in 2000.
Dr. Patel is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology. He is also a clinical assistant professor of otolaryngology at the New York University School of Medicine and at the New York Medical College. He has authored publications in otolaryngology journals and textbooks. He has also presented at various otolaryngology meetings. Currently, he enjoys private practice in New York City.

Dr. Nilesh Patel is very experienced, kind, polite, and detail oriented Otolaryngologist who should be in everyone's Dr. List for everything ENT. He does through exam, listens to your problem and helps resolve it. He helped diagnose my vocal fold cyst when I went to him ongoing soar throat in May 2024 and recomended next steps for surgery. He suggested right surgeon and also shared I should do my research to ensure I select right dr. His guidance made all the difference. I would refer him to everyone who needs good ENT.
super friendly and EFFECTIVE doctor, after years of breathing issues and seeing many many doctors and specialists, I finally got a definite diagnosis and options for a fix first visit, rather than just getting prescriptions for symptoms,

Amazing Dr, I’ve been struggling from a severe ear infection for the past 2 weeks & he has done a nasal endoscopy and cleaned up my ear plus assigned treatment plans as well as follow up. I have been a follow up patient of his and I’m not going anywhere else.
