Dr. Nicole Kabia-Smith is a practicing Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapist with
over 18 years of experience. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
from Duke University and continued on to complete an Orthopedic Manual Therapy
Fellowship with the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (
FAAOMPT).
She specializes in techniques such as joint mobilization, muscle energy, dry needling,
soft tissue mobilization, myofascial release and exercise prescription to provide
comprehensive care to each patient. She educates her clients on the nature of their
injury and how to care for their body to return to optimal function and health.
Dr. Kabia-Smith started treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction over 10 years
ago. She obtained her training through Herman & Wallace and continues to broaden
her knowledge.
In her spare time, Dr. Kabia-Smith enjoys dance, fitness and spending time with her
family.Â
