He attended Clear Lake High School and the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. Dr. Wijay attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch and was then accepted to a six-year integrated plastic surgery residency program at The University of Texas Medical Branch.
Throughout his six-year residency, Dr. Wijay trained at multiple prestigious hospitals in the Houston area, including UTMB Galveston/League City, Shriners Hospital for Children Galveston/Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and multiple community aesthetic practices. During his training, Dr. Wijay developed a special interest in aesthetic surgery, massive weight loss reconstruction and breast aesthetics.

Dr. Wijay and his team are all so wonderful. I had a tummy tuck with muscle repair and flank lipo in June and the care he provided is top tier! He makes sure you feel seen as a person and not just as his patient. He takes the time to answer your questions without making you feel rushed and you can tell he really listens because he cares. He doesn’t just give generic responses to your questions, but instead answers them with YOU in mind. He makes himself accessible to his surgery patients in a way I’ve never experienced before. I could reach out to him directly with any question or concern throughout my recovery process. I have referred all my friends to him! I recently went in and had Dysport done by him and that experience was great as well! 100% trust Dr. Wijay and you should too. He’s not only a great doctor, but a good human, too!
